A modern shipyard at dusk: a slender steel hull stands on the slipway beneath a symmetrical steel gantry frame, work lights and copper evening light reflecting in the calm water.

Native app development

Your app, built like ours.

Our five apps are our portfolio: for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, with a server of their own or none at all. We bring that experience to your project – from the first sketch to the store.

From idea to product

Everything a good app needs.

An app starts with the people who use it. We bring product thinking, design and native development together – the same way we do for our own apps.

  1. Product strategy & concept

We work out who it’s for, how they’ll use it and what sits at the heart of your idea. Together we decide which features carry the first release and what can follow.

You get: a prioritised scope and a roadmap that makes sense.

  2. UX & interface design

From sign-up to everyday use, we design paths people understand. Clickable prototypes make flows tangible early, and feedback lands before development starts.

You get: agreed user flows and a consistent interface.

  3. Native development for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Android

We build each app to fit its platform. Navigation, permissions, notifications and device states are planned as part of the product – and so are accessibility and patchy connections.

You get: platform-native experiences built on one product idea.

  4. Backend & APIs

Members, bookings or content need a solid foundation. We design data models, roles and APIs, and connect the app to the systems you already run.

You get: clear data flows and well-defined access rights.

  5. Quality & release

We test the key flows on real devices, account for failure cases and guide test builds and store submission. Approval rests with each store.

You get: a tested release and store materials ready to go.

  6. Running & evolving

After launch, user feedback and technical signals help set priorities. Updates, fixes and new features are planned within the support scope we agree.

You get: a product that can grow with your needs.

How we work

  1. Step 1

    Understand

We talk through goals, users, existing systems and budget, and end up with a shared picture of the project.

  2. Step 2

    Make it tangible

A prototype shows the key flows. We test our assumptions and narrow down the first release.

  3. Step 3

    Build together

Testable versions arrive in manageable stages. You see progress and can give feedback early.

  4. Step 4

    Launch & learn

We see the release through and agree how feedback, maintenance and the next stages will be handled.

App development FAQ

Do you only build apps for sport?

No. Racqt comes from tennis, warfta is a mail app, Tackbook a notebook and Cavvy a developer tool. We’re happy to talk about any project where the work and the collaboration fit.

Can we start with one platform?

Yes. Your audience, budget and existing systems decide whether iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android comes first. The second platform can be planned in from the start.

What does an app cost, and how long does it take?

That depends on features, integrations, design and quality requirements. After a first conversation and a clear scope, we can estimate effort, stages and cost in concrete terms.

Can you take over an existing app?

We start by reviewing the code, architecture, documentation and current state. Based on that, we discuss whether and how we can carry it forward.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

A description of the idea, the audience and the problem is enough to start. Existing drafts, details about integrations and a rough timeline and budget help us give a sound estimate.

Your idea deserves a good start.
