A complete tennis court with a net lies on wet tidal flats before the open North Sea at dusk; its pale lines glow turquoise from the ground and reflect in the film of water, surrounded by seaweed and sand ripples.

Island 01 · Racqt

It started on court.

Racqt is club and coaching software for tennis – and the island where MOJM first made landfall.

Origin

No market study, just a question on the tennis court: who’s free for a game today? In 2025, looking for a hitting partner turned into an idea, and shortly after into a beta.

Along the way it became clear the real problem sat one level up – in the club, where the work is scattered across spreadsheets, group chats, notice boards and separate booking services.

Principles

The club pays for the software; its members don’t pay with their data. We don’t sell data, and Racqt takes no commission on bookings or online payments.

The members’ app is included. In “My club” mode it wears the club’s colours and logo, and Racqt steps back.

Tech

Native apps rather than a website in a wrapper: iPhone and iPad in SwiftUI, Android in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, plus a web portal for the board, coaches and members.

Behind them sits an API in Python with FastAPI and PostgreSQL, running on servers in Germany.

Status

Live on the App Store and Google Play. What Racqt does in detail, what it costs and how a club can try it lives on racqt.app – where clubs go looking for it. That site is in German, like the clubs it serves.
